Our manufacturing process is divided into four core stages:

1- Sourcing the Raw Materials

We source only high-grade, premium-quality raw materials from within Nepal and globally to ensure uncompromised cement performance:

  • Limestone: For its high calcium content, ensuring strength and consistency
  • Calorific coal: Used as a reliable energy source in kilns
  • Iron ore: Enhances the chemical integrity of clinker production

Each input is rigorously inspected and selected for its purity, strength contribution, and sustainability footprint.

2- The Clinker

The heart of cement is clinker, which is produced by heating the raw materials to ~1450°C in rotary kilns. Though Saptakoshi Cement is currently a grinding unit, we source ready-made high-quality clinker from trusted partners and ensure:

  • Homogeneous chemical composition
  • Proper nodulization for grindability
  • Consistent performance under load conditions

Clinker makes up 95–97% of the final cement composition, and its quality directly affects the durability of your project.

3- Cement Grinding

Using LNVT’s closed-circuit grinding system, the clinker is finely ground with gypsum (for setting time control) and sometimes pozzolanic materials to produce OPC and PPC.

Our Process Guarantees:
  • High fineness and uniformity
  • NS Certified outputs for OPC 53, OPC 43, and PPC
  • Production of cement that resists cracking, segregating, and moisture damage

30+ physical and chemical tests are performed on every batch in our in-house quality control lab to ensure structural strength and performance reliability.

4- Storage & Dispatch

Once the cement meets quality standards, it is stored in dedicated cement silos and dispatched through our dual-mode logistics:

  • Bagged cement: Packed in 50 kg sacks using automated filling systems
  • Loose cement: Delivered via bulkers for major infrastructure projects

24–48 hour delivery turnaround across Province No. 1 through a responsive dealer and transporter network.

Dispatch Monitoring Systems provide real-time alignment with construction sites, ensuring timely supply chain integration.

Regular internal and third-party audits ensure that quality, compliance, and consistency are maintained at every point.
